Colour the Mind

Authors: Dr Rajeshwari Nayak

Colour the Mind

Is there a language for thought,

And, is there a colour to mind

Like the notes on my violin

Are they pleasant for all-in

Chirped the little Robin in my garden.

Colours are plenty and jargon aplenty too,

As the colours in the rainbow

Are they enduring too?

Black, brown and blue,

My friends are of varied hue

Blooms in my garden, varied in view

Who hang together and cradle together

In deep roots too

No clash, no friction

Devour from the Mother Earth platter too.

Aren’t we all the blooms of the same Mother Earth,

In varied glow and varied minds

As life folds and unfolds

Why do the colours change?

Change like the spinning wheel,

To crush when it’s time to blush

A single note can’t be a symphony

Single colour can’t be a palette.

Feel the fragrance and smell the floret,

Crack the code and celebrate the essence

Yay,

It’s silence the language of thought

And, serenity that colours the mind

To make the strokes bold and the strings in sync.

Time is an illusion,

The mind is delusive

Rhythm of change all over

Celebrate the essence

IT is all one.
